Newbridge Primary School has just started working on a project lead by Prof. Robert Barratt, Assistant Dean of Education at
Bath Spa University.

The objective of the project is for students to measure sound levels on their walk to and from the school so that they can understand how noisy their environment is and how it compares with their fellow pupils.

Initially the students all used the kit to carry out these measurements around the school grounds. The data has now been posted on the site and a sample collected by some of the teachers has been published to the public.
